About me…

Ever since I can remember, I have always had a fascination of the human body and how it works, specifically the process of childbirth.  I have always been drawn to various healing modalities of a relaxing nature and throughout my life I have had the opportunity to pursue a variety of educational avenues to help fine tune my interests which include:

Massage Therapy, Yoga, and being a Doula.

If you’re looking for a Doula who can provide a wide array of wellness services in addition to your prenatal/birth/postpartum needs, you’ve come to the right place.

My massage therapy career began in 2007, after graduating from the Utah College of Massage Therapy.  I learned several massage modalities but I now specialize in prenatal massage.  You will love the benefits of how massage helps you to stay relaxed and increase your well-being throughout pregnancy, birth and beyond.

In 2012 I completed my 200 hr. yoga teacher training at 3B Yoga in Utah.  This was a transformative experience for me where I learned about the importance of breath work, movement, and meditation to stay balanced, grounded and cultivating peace within.  Incorporating a regular yoga practice can help to reduce and calm the stresses that can accompany your fertility treatments, pregnancy, and navigating the postpartum period.

Additionally, in 2018 I attended my first hands on doula training with a certified midwife and doula.  I knew I wanted to be a doula and be more involved with the birth community after attending an event called Empowering Fearless Birth; a gathering of a variety of birth workers in the community where they shared their knowledge and experiences of transformative birth experiences.  It really ignited a passion in me and opened my eyes to what is possible for pregnancy, birth and postpartum when you have a strong team of support around you.

Finally, in 2022 I decided to deepen my knowledge about birth, special circumstances, fertility, breastfeeding and postpartum work through Bebomia’s Maternal Support Practitioner program where I was given live instruction and assignments to better prepare me for future clients.  I have assisted several mothers in various capacities over the last few years and I look forward to supporting and nourishing you on your journey whether you are undergoing fertility treatments, navigating your pregnancy and as you prepare for your birth.
